Post Graduate Certificate in Healthcare innovation – General Information (open evening links below)

GENERAL INFORMATION
Welcome to the new Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Innovation commencing 25th March 2022. This part-time programme is being delivered by Tangent, Trinity’s Ideas Workspace in collaboration with the School of Medicine, Trinity College Dublin and Health Innovation Hub Ireland.
This unique collaboration offers a fantastic opportunity for those working in the healthcare sector who would like to become agents or ambassadors of change. The course will equip individuals with the entrepreneurial skills to identify and evaluate opportunities for innovation across a range of healthcare settings and the confidence to take ideas forward for support and through to implementation. Classes will be delivered online, Fridays and Saturdays, across 12 days between 25th March and 16th July 2022 and graduates will be awarded a Level 9 Certification from Trinity College Dublin.

– Gasgon Medical was winner at InterTrade Ireland Seedcorn winner €100,000
– Gabadoo (MyOTandMe), Stimul.ai, Stratos Medical and SymPhysis Medical have been shortlisted for Medical Start-up of the year at National Start-up Awards, judging on Monday (29.11.21). Stimul.ai won the gold and Symphysis Medical won the silver awards!
– xWave, Gasgon Medical and RedZinc were shortlisted for the Innovation Award at Future Health Summit.
– Gabadoo (MyOTandMe) was shortlisted for Tech4Good Award at Technology Ireland Ibec Industry Awards 2021

Drew O’Sullivan will be providing another series of three Seed Finance Workshops in November as part of the Commercialisation Fund Network (CFN 3).
They will be focused on the area of seed finance and will be of particular benefit to Comm Fund teams looking to spin-out, and early stage companies looking for initial investment.
The previous sessions that Drew did for EI were excellent and gave a real hands-on insight into the whole process.
