20 years of National Women’s Enterprise Day. HIHI celebrates the women changing healthcare through innovation.

As we mark this important 20 year milestone on 15th November, Health Innovation Hub Ireland is proud to recognise the extraordinary women innovators, founders, clinicians and researchers who are improving health outcomes through entrepreneurial leadership.

Through our work with female led companies across digital health, medical technologies and health services innovation, we have witnessed first-hand the impact that diverse perspectives bring to solving some of healthcare’s most pressing challenges.

From, sustainable healthcare products, AI, women’s health, chronic disease management and digital health solutions, Irish women entrepreneurs are bringing forward innovations that are improving lives and driving economic growth.

This year, we’re especially proud of the momentum behind Ireland’s growing FemTech ecosystem. Our recent report, Femtech in Ireland – The Case for Prioritising Women’s Health Research and Innovation highlighted both the scale of the opportunity and the incredible innovation being developed by female founders addressing areas that have historically been underserved in healthcare.

Today, we celebrate the many women founders who have engaged with HIHI over the years and who continue to inspire future generations through their vision, resilience and determination.
