Marian Kennedy, is the Founder & CEO of PPR Healthcare Ltd., PPR stands for Post Partum Relief and trades under the name Anewmum. Anewmum is a range of comfort and hygienic products that has been developed to assist new mothers in their recovery after they have given birth. Marian set up her business after her personal experience after the birth of her first daughter in 2015 and has participated on numerous accelerators and government supported programmes for startup businesses such as IBYE, New Frontiers 1 & 2 and Innovate to name a few. Anewmum, will be launching its OTC range in 2021 and will be undertaking a clinical study for the development of the company’s short term medical device in 2022.
Marian has worked for several multinationals in the south east in a financial capacity such as Bulmers, Clonmel Healthcare and her last employment was in a management capacity in the HSE before starting her own company. Marian holds a first class honors degree in business studies and has a distinction in Enterprise, Innovation and Entrepreneurship from UCD Innovation Academy.
