Eimer O’Connell

Project Manager, Health Innovation Hub Ireland | NUIG

Eimer is a Research Associate in the Health Innovation Hub Ireland Galway office.  She supports HIHI team activities by engaging with healthcare professionals and supporting industry clients.  She also supports the HIHI team in the co-ordination and management of the Spark Ignite Innovation Call and assists in the day to day project activities including planning, organizing and communications.  She is instrumental in developing and delivering webinar events for HIHI.

Before joining HIHI, Eimear has had experience in a GMP facility, manufacturing human stem cells for clinical trials, in particular, completing appropriate documentation in line with GMP practice.  She has project management experience in healthcare technologies.  Eimear has an honours degree in Biochemistry and an M.Sc. in Cancer Research from NUI Galway.
