Glenda Hahn

Glenda began her career as a nurse and has worked for over 20 years across acute and community healthcare settings. During her career Glenda managed two healthcare companies which gave her a unique blend of commercial and clinical experience.

Continuing to work in the healthcare sector, she recognised that healthcare managers were burdened with time consuming paper-based systems for hygiene compliance. Glenda co-founded Hygiene Audits in 2019 to deliver a software solution to help manage this problem. Hygiene Audits has won two healthcare awards and has received a €40,000 European Healthcare Innovation prize in 2020. The support from HIHI has helped accelerate market entry and as a result the software is now in use in healthcare facilities across Ireland where it’s making a real difference by helping care staff improve hygiene practices and saving time by automating processes.
