CommPAL
CommPAL is an innovative, web-based platform developed by a team of researchers at UCC, designed to support healthcare providers and caregivers in making timely, informed decisions. It enables better coordination of specialist care within the community, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes and quality of care. Developed as a compliant digital service, the CommPAL application is scalable and easily implemented by clinical users. CommPAL addresses an underserved an unmet, universal, growing societal need. By leveraging AI and cutting-edge health technologies, CommPAL aims to revolutionise palliative care, optimising resource allocation and healthcare professional communication, supporting care coordination, and ultimately improving the quality of life for patients, their families, and communities.

ADMiRE ADHD Navigator is a digital solution that unites families, schools, and clinicians on a single, user-friendly interface to transform ADHD assessment and treatment for young people in Ireland. It combines an evidence-based protocol called ADMiRE developed by Trinity College Dublin with AI to cut wait lists, reduce admin and make medication management safe.

Diagnexia is an AI-powered digital pathology platform connecting hospitals to remote subspecialty pathologists for primary diagnostics and consultations. Currently, urgent cases requiring double reads face 4–5-day delays from physical slide shipping. Diagnexia eliminates these delays through AI-assisted case assignment, simultaneous digital consultations and instant web-based access supporting the acceleration of diagnostic turnaround times and delivery of the highest quality of patient care.
EaseTalk
EaseTalk is an AI-powered practice tool that helps people who stammer build confidence by practicing real-world conversational scenarios in a supportive, judgment-free environment. It uses speech recognition and LLMs to guide interactive conversations and offers a gamified mood-tracking experience that strengthens self-awareness and resilience. For therapists, EaseTalk provides a data-driven dashboard with insights, progress tracking, and assignable exercises that enhance, not replace, professional therapy and streamline clinical decision-making.
Katana Healthcare
Katana is an AI enabled decision support tool that helps clinicians prevent medication errors in real time. It analyses patient medication lists, applies evidence based clinical protocols, and delivers focused alerts and insights that fit naturally into the flow of a consultation. Clinicians can capture a drug Kardex image, use voice input or type, and explore prescribing simulation to test new medicines against the current regimen. Katana enhances medicine safety, strengthens clinical confidence, and supports better outcomes for patients across routine care.
PeriVision
VisionOneTM combines Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality to make eye testing more accessible, comfortable and efficient with a first focus on visual field testing for patients with glaucoma and neurological conditions. With over 10 peer review publications, VisionOneTM has been shown to reduce test time by 50-70% while maintaining strong correlation to current gold standards. This technology is backed by several patents and is commercially available in over 30 countries.

Protostars provide AI infrastructure for audit, compliance and certification, helping digital health innovators meet the requirements of the EU Cyber Resilience Act. The platform automates security evidence, regulatory checks, and CE-ready reporting to reduce the time and cost of certification. Protostars also links verified compliance outputs to a cyber-insurance model, offering healthcare innovators stronger financial protection as they scale.

Yellow Schedule
Triage Link is an AI-enabled digital triage solution developed to digitise referral pathways from GPs to consultants and replace current paper-based methods of triage. It captures referrals from all channels, applies OCR and natural language processing to structure information, and routes them into a secure digital workflow. Consultants can triage remotely via a secure App, without needing the physical paper referral. All activity is timestamped, eliminating lost referrals and providing full auditability. Administrative teams gain a centralised view to route referrals, track tasks, and monitor performance.
Axial3D
TAVI are clinical software applications for planning of Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR) and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) procedures, respectively. They enable planning to be performed by clinicians in 3D automatically, through automatic generation of 3D patient-specific digital models of the relevant anatomy from computed tomography angiography (CTA) scans, landmarking of relevant anatomy and clinical measurements. Axial3D-EVAR and Axial3D-TAVI allow for more accurate and rapid planning of TAVI and EVAR procedures compared to currently available manual software.

Our system is designed around ethics, accountability, security, and privacy, helping clinical teams confidently enhance efficiency, throughput, and quality of care.
