The UBIHEALTH kit from Altratech is small, battery-operated reader that make viral diagnostics faster, more accurate and accessible outside traditional healthcare settings. This home-based viral diagnostic platform allows people to test for infectious diseases such as COVID-19, HIV and potentially other viral infections from their own homes. Altratech is a Cork-based biotechnology company made up of scientists and engineers developing advanced molecular detection technologies.
