KEWS300
by SyncroPhi Systems
The SyncroPhi KEWS 300 is a semi-automated digital system that captures patient clinical data and presents it in a format that enables tracking, auditing and monitoring of patients. It has a specific application in the digital implementation and management of the National Early Warning Score (NEWS) clinical guideline. In a recent HIHI study it was shown that there were 59% inaccuracies (36% documentation errors and 23% ‘delays’) in paper based recording of NEWS. This was improved to 0% documentation errors and 13% ‘delays’ after KEWS300 was implemented.
KEWS300 has now been installed in 13 HSE hospitals with further hospitals planned.
