Flowering Fertility Support
by Flowering Fertility Support Services
Flowering Fertility Support is a fertility wellbeing and support service that helps individuals and couples navigate the emotional and practical challenges associated with trying to conceive and undergoing fertility treatment. It focuses on providing personalised guidance, coping strategies, and emotional support alongside medical fertility care. They have developed an eight-week online programme to complement clinical fertility care by providing emotional, educational and practical support for individuals and couples navigating fertility challenges. The programme is inclusive of people undergoing fertility treatment, donor conception, solo parenthood, LGBTQ+ families and male partners.
Key benefits:
  • Reduced feelings of isolation and emotional distress – Participants reported feeling less alone during their fertility journey and experienced improvements in their emotional wellbeing.
  • Greater confidence when engaging with fertility services – The programme helped participants feel more confident communicating with healthcare professionals and navigating fertility treatment.
  • Improved understanding of fertility treatment options – Expert-led education increased participants' knowledge of fertility care, enabling them to make more informed decisions
  • Enhanced emotional resilience and coping strategies – Participants developed practical tools, including mindfulness and coping techniques, that helped them better manage the emotional challenges of infertility, with many continuing to use these skills after the programme ended
  • Increased self-advocacy and peer support – The programme fostered a compassionate community where participants felt understood and empowered to advocate for themselves throughout their fertility journey. Many described this emotional support as the "missing piece" of their fertility care.
