AI SENSOR is an AI-powered device that helps healthcare providers gain a more nuanced understanding of how clinical rooms, including operating rooms and patient rooms, are being utilized. The device (Fig. a) operates using thermal vision sensing technology which remove personally identifiable features from the data, preserving staff privacy and ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations. The technology is developed by Akara, a spin-out from Trinity College Dublin.
