Medclair N₂O Recovery system is a hospital device that collects waste volatile anaesthetic gases during operations to prevent greenhouse gas pollution. Exhaled air containing N₂O is collected into the Medclair unit. A catalytic process at high temperatures breaks down N₂O into oxygen and nitrogen, the main constituents of regular air. The purified air is then safely released into the atmosphere.
