Diabetic foot ulcers are one of the most devastating issues associated with diabetes. Each year in Ireland there are over 500 amputations as a result of diabetes. Bluedrop Medical have developed a system to identify the signs of these ulcer as early as possible. Our device looks and behaves like a standard bathroom weighing scales but is embedded with over 700 sensors. The patient simply stands on the device once a day for 30 seconds in their home and we take a scan of their feet. We analyse this data using our AI enabled software, and if an issue is detected we contact the patient and their clinician to allow the earliest possible intervention.
