Christina received her Master of Pharmacy from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in 2013. After graduation, she resumed full-time studies, undertaking a PhD at RCSI in the areas of translational pharmaceutics and tissue engineering. During this time, Christina also acted as a Senior Demonstrator, responsible for delivery of pharmaceutics laboratory practical classes to undergraduate pharmacy students.
Christina also worked as a relief pharmacist in community pharmacy at weekends. Throughout her Master’s and PhD qualifications, Christina has gained experience in areas such as literature review, technical report writing, and presentation skills, as well as technical scientific skills. Following completion of her PhD, Christina joined LEO Pharma in the Manufacturing, Science and Technology (MSAT) Department as a subject matter expert in the area of topical medicinal product manufacture. Overall in her career to date, Christina has gained experience in academic, clinical and industrial settings, giving her a broad understanding of research, innovation and healthcare in Ireland.
