GMI have organised some briefing seminars on Monday next 5th February with the assistance of UCC and the CRF-C. It might be of interest to some folks in your network. We are keen to reach as many people as possible in these briefings so would be great if you could forward details on to anyone who you think might be interested in learning more about the company and our 2018 studies.



Genomics Medicine Ireland (GMI) is an Irish life science company that seeks to transform the quality of life of people with debilitating diseases.  The aim of the company is to build  a population genomic research platform across a number of complex diseases and to develop an Irish reference genome that disease genomes can be compared to.  We are setting up nationwide studies to help characterise the genetic contribution of a number of diseases and ultimately to help further health improvements in areas of diagnosis, disease subtypes and treatments.  We are working with centres across Ireland and currently have a Multiple Sclerosis study up and running at CUH with Dr Brian Sweeney (see press release on RTE Six One News
